Carpenter tape. Nothing else works on vinyl. But why? Are we that cheap? Ready of four floor mats is less than $20 Wallmart.

Yo Nuttz, I'd go the inexpensive wal-mart rubbers and stick 'em downwards with trim adhesive or even RTV. I know for a fact it works

For a beater vehicle, instead of spending the money for new floor mats, this production is what the OP needs:

Shoe GOO Adhesive product 0710

While I originally bought a tube of this stuff many years ago in order to repair a pair of athletic shoes, I think also using information technology to patch a safety floor mat, and information technology worked just fine.
I recollect that this product (or something similar) is available at Wal-Mart.

Super mucilage eats safe, so that won't work.

Depending on how large the tear is, melting it back together may exist easy to do. Either a soldering iron or heat gun can practice this.

Personally, I don't think it'southward worth the time and effort considering how inexpensive a gear up of rubber replacement mats are.

His whole flooring is covered with vinyl he got information technology without rug, were not talking most flooring mats.

having said that phone call an upholstery shop or the dealer for a replacement.
I don't have a set up for ya..

shoe-goo?
silicone, but it may not stick to the vinyl.

Covering it upwards is not an option for nigh as the rip lets moisture and dirt to get under it and kickoff to rust out the floorboards
